New Reloading Manual #14

The original bible of reloading and still the Number One reference for reloaders, the Speer Reloading Manual #14 contains 1150 pages of how-to information, with charts, illustrations, and photographs. The manual also offers bullet data, detailed ballistic tables, bullet energy and velocity tables, special techniques sections, a problem solving section and much more. This is an indispensable tool for every reloader's bench.

Empty Shot Capsules

With our shot capsules, you can create custom shotshells to fire in your favorite revolver. They're excellent for short-range pest control. Fill the plastic capsule with with your favorite shot size, and load much like a conventional bullet. A flexible base wad seals the bore to prevent gas loss, and the rigid capsule is designed to break up on the rifling. Loading data is on the package. Available for 38 Special and 357 Magnum, 44 Special and Magnum, and 45 Colt.

Not recommended for assembling self defense ammunition. Not for use in firearms having ported recoil compensators.

Plastic Training Components

Do you want to get a little handgun practice at times you can't get to the range? Don't have a heavy-duty backstop in the garage? SPEER Plastic Training Components are the prescription you need for short-range practice. This isn't loaded ammo. We make the bullets and cases--you supply the power. A standard large pistol primer provides all the power needed to propel the reusable bullets at velocities between 300 and 400 ft/sec. Cases are reusable, too. You don't even need reloading equipment to assemble Speer practice ammo. The case/bullet system is available for 38/357 and 44 caliber revolvers. For the 45 Auto, use our bullet and a standard 45 Auto brass case with a drilled-out flash hole. A backstop for these bullets can be quickly built from a cardboard box and carpet scraps.

Bullets and cases are sold separately so you can replace lost or damaged bullets.

SAFETY FIRST: Never use propellant when loading Plastic Training components. Treat the resulting ammunition with the same respect given conventional ammunition; velocity is high enough to injure the skin. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Brush the bore every 12-18 shots to prevent accumulation of primer residue.

Premium 00 Copper-plated Buckshot

Have you ever need to load a few rounds of buckshot for your shotgun but had to buy a large bag with more buckshot than you need? Ever had one of those cloth bags leak, spilling pellets on the shop floor? Speer knows it happens, and came up with a great solution. We offer premium 00 buckshot with hardened lead, rolled for roundness, and copper plated to insure good patterns. We pack two pounds (approx) of them in a reusable plastic box. That's about 285 pellets, enough for about thirty standard 12 gauge loads (2 3/4 inch, nine pellets per load).

Bullet Display Board

The entire Speer bullet line-up becomes art with our latest Bullet Board. It features one each of our bullets mounted on a durable, high-quality background and framed in dark wood. Use as an attractive addition to your den, or as a reference guide in your reloading room.
